User permissions

The following types of user permissions are available in the App Center:

User permissions Description
App owner A user who registered the app in the App Center. They can develop and test the app and have full access to all its features and settings, including pricing and user management.
Admin A user assigned by the App owner to help manage the app. Admins can use test apps, access the App info and Pricing info details, and view information about the App owner.

Invite Admins

To assign the Admin permissions to a Semrush user, follow these steps:

  1. Open Developer App Center.
  2. Select the app you want to manage.
  3. Switch to the Users and access tab.
  4. Enter one or several email addresses of your potential Admins.
  5. Click Invite to send emails with invitation links.
Sending Admin invitations

Invitation links expire 30 days after you send them.

To check the invitation status, refer to the Users and access tab. The hourglass icon next to an email address indicates that the user hasn't accepted your invitation yet.

Revoke Admin permissions

To revoke Admin permissions, click the recycle bin icon next to the relevant email address. If the user hasn't yet accepted the invitation, the link in the invitation email becomes non-valid.

To assign the user as the Admin again, send them a new invitation.
